I have been working in the information technology (IT) industry since 1996. Formally educated with an undergraduate accounting degree, I made the switch to data management early in my career when an employer hired me to work in an IT position. The employer wanted a person that possessed strong business fundamentals that could be applied to data management. I enjoyed the data management and the IT aspect of the job so much that I created a career in data warehousing.
